Wow. Just wow.This just amazed me. Enough said. This is practicly the DEFINITION of amazing! I cannot belive that you even made somting this amazing much less put it on your LIPS! How did you do this?Somthing that looks so simple yet so amazing ended up on DA. You get an A! Not for effort but for AWESOME!Exsuse me I have to fling myself onto the floor to make sure this is real *thump* Yep! This is real! Let us look at reality.*blink blink* Amazing! This is an astounding piece. It speaks volumes, despite showing silence. The cracks at the bottom are fantastic. Sure, I love the thumb print and the Police line, but the cracking effect is what did it. It could mean so much, yet it is so overlooked. Society is cracking(the cracks), everyone is being monitored (fingerprint), and restrictions define our lives (Police line).

The red is probably blood, but I imagine that the real lips, the real speech, and the real freedom, are all trying so very hard to break through the restrictions that society have made. They paint over the cracks, they don't fill them in.

OMG!!! BRILLIANT! This is so utterly POWERFUL! I would have named it "Date Rape!" The effect of the police tape draped across the lips ... seemingly "silencing" her! Such a powerful message ... how the victim is "once again" victimized by the justice system ... "shamed" into silence! Thank you for your brilliant work of art!
