The blue accents on the face is a nice touch, these give the picture a lot more impact. If they would have been taken away, it would be rather plain. And of course blue for the eyes is the obvious right choice to top it off.
Also the technique that is used on the nose and lips make it a very realistic kitty.
I also think it's nice that the hair is blurred so the face pops out more.
Although in this lays also the problem that the top half of the pony is blurred and I think that's the only fault in this picture. It is off and gives a weird impression as it is closer by than the other parts of the hair that is blurred.
Overall, it’s very nice.
