The Sad Mermaid (Halloween makeup)
Here is my last commission. The girl asked me for a "simple" makeup but efective at the same time. Her costume is in blue tones and she had the concept of a evil mermaid, not sweet as Ariel is
So I decided to do this dark and dramatic look.
I used an opalescent blue creamy eyeshadow as a base for my entire face, turquoise pigments for my eyes and dark cobalt blue pigment for the scales.
My lips are a lighter version of my T-Bird lips.

Originality Technique ImpactThis is really superb! The photograph shows all angles of everything you need to see. The color palette you chose is really brilliant!
The eyes are very nice and simple enough that anyone can do them. The shade of the eye shadow is such a gorgeous ice blue! I like that you are either wearing contact or colored your eye, it really adds to the photo.
Your lips are really fantastic, another great color and design choice. The fact that you did your hair as well is just one more detail that improves the impact of the shot.
The powder (or whatever pales your skin) was also a great idea, I just wish you used it on your neck. However, the scales are the real showstopper. The detail and (you guessed it) color choice is PERFECT! I wish I was a mermaid for Halloween now, this is so wonderful. Excellent job!
